This website is dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of Thor Soderberg, <\/strong>1967 \u2013 2010.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thor<\/strong> was a beloved husband, dear friend, doting son, supportive brother, generous uncle, trusted colleague and always a teacher to those around him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thor<\/strong> loved being a Chicago Police Officer; he believed it was his job to serve, and then protect.  He hoped by being the police he would be able to help those who had nowhere else to turn.  Read about some of the ways he did this in About Thor\u2019s Life<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thor<\/strong> was killed in the line of duty<\/span><\/a> on July 7, 2010.\u00a0 He is desperately missed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every July 7 we remember him by doing what he did every single day:  Paying It Forward.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
